Croatian Heritage Library

A commitment by the American Croatian Lodge, “Cardinal Stepinac, “ to provide housing for a library has finally materialized, since the construction of the new building adjacent to the lodge. The library books and other resources which were so generously donated by the American Croatian community are currently being catalogued. Materials are also being purchased from sources in Croatia and the USA, as funding permits.

Major donors to the library collections were Ljerka Orsanic, Dr. Victor Koludrovic, Jure Prpic, Jerry Malinar, Jerome Brentar, Ivica Miletic, Steve Lovrekovich, the late Steve Nekich and Adam Eterovich. There are too many others to mention everyone. In addition, Petar Oroz and the Ungar Foundation donated shelving for the books. The American Croatian Women’s Club provided funds for library furnishings. We are grateful to all the donors for their generosity and continued support and especially to the volunteers who put many hours of work into organizing this library.

Library Hours:

Open Fridays from 3:00 pm- 8:00 pm and Saturdays from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm or by appointment.
